Bophirima Region Town Information
Schweizer – Reneke is surrounded by sunflower and maize fields, it has become an attractive historical area to explore.
Taung it is also known as the "place of the lion" This is where the little Taung skull was found, it belonged to one of the earliest hominids that lived in southern Africa.
Vryburg is the industrial and agricultural heartland of the Bophirima region. The area supports a large number of game and cattle ranches and is home to a variety of wildlife.
