Bloemhof:

Bloemhof is a maize and cattle farming town, situated on the banks of the Vaal River. Bloemhof Dam is one of the prime angling destinations in South Africa and hosts a number of major local and international angling competitions.

Christiana:

The mainstay of the economy in Christiana is the production of beef, maize, sorghum, groundnuts and cotton. Tourist attractions include the Diggers' Diamond Museum and San Bushman Rock Art.

Fochville:

Fochville is a gold mining town. In the area surrounding Fochville there are a number of Sotho or Tswana ruins.

Klerksdorp:

Klerksdorp is known for the minning of gold. It is the centre for a large mining and agricultural economy and has the second largest grain co-operative in the world. One of the many attractions is Goudkoppie

Orkney:

Orkney is a small town it is also a mining town with a laid-back, relaxing and welcoming feeling.

Potchefstroom:

Potchefstroom, the first town and capital of the former Transvaal Republic. Potchefstroom has developed into a leading city in the province and the country. The town's industries include South Africa's only chalk factory and one of the largest organ factories in the country. Its hospitality is very generous.

Stilfontein:

Stilfontein is known for its hospitality and excellent sports facilities, and hosts the annual Rose Festival in spring when the famous Stilfontein roses bloom.

Ventersdorp:

Ventersdorp, today, is at the centre of a large agricultural area. All sport clubs and facilities are funded by private members.

Wolmaraansstad:

This town forms the start of the famous Diamond Route Wolmaransstad has a large community and has an important diamond buying centre. It's a farming and prospecting community The town hosts an annual show and the renowned "Porrel Mardi Gras" is held here during the winter months.
